West Kowloon Cultural District - Where we are now and where we are going

On Tuesday, Sept 17 guests heard from Duncan Pescod, CEO of the West Kowloon District Authority. Mr. Pescod presented on the District's openings of the Xiqu Centre, Freespace, Competition Pavillion and Art Park, and their impact on culture and art in Hong Kong. He also shared future plans for M+, the Palace Museum and the Lyric Theatre; all part of West Kowloon's goal to become one of the largest arts and culture precincts in the world. It was a great opportunity to learn about how the cultural and creative industries are thriving in Hong Kong.

Thanks to the Construction, Property and Infrastructure Committee for presenting this event, and also to Herbert Smith Freehills for generously hosting.
