Australian Federal Budget 2022-23: Key Strategies and Considerations for Australian Expats

The 2022-23 Federal Budget has been brought forward this year due to the Federal Election to Tuesday 29th March 2022. With this being a pre-election Budget, it will be interesting to see if there are further sweeteners announced for individuals and businesses still grappling with the effects of Covid. Or will the Government begin implementing measures to start making tracks to reduce the deficits that have accumulated over recent years?

We are hoping there will be further clarity and updates provided following the proposed changes to Australian tax residency laws in last year’s Budget announcement.

Join us in this live webinar with Oreana Private Wealth on 1st April (Friday) at 12:30pm HKT, where Senior Wealth Advisor, Matthew Jones, will go through the Budget proposals and in particular how this affects Australian expatriates. Also providing a refresher on key strategies and considerations for Australian expats, including property ownership, debt management, tax and superannuation.
