Mitigating Cyber Fraud Risk
Mitigating Cyber Fraud Risk
Online frauds have become increasingly prevalent in recent years, posing a constant risk to individuals and corporates alike as fraudsters and hackers relentlessly look for opportunities and loopholes to enable their attacks. With the COVID-19 pandemic and work from home arrangements, heavy reliance on online communications has created a fertile environment for these cyber scams to occur. In this webinar, our speakers will share with you their war stories along with insights and practical tips on dealing with cyber fraud. The panel will discuss preventive and protective measures which you and your business should take to protect your assets, or to respond to an incident when it occurs. The good news - steps can be taken and, if the worst happens, quick action means that losses can be mitigated or recovered.
Our panel discussion will be moderated by Gary Seib (Baker McKenzie), and joined by speakers Richard Lord (HSBC), Justin McMahon (Village Insurance Direct) and Gillian Lam (Baker McKenzie).
You can expect to take away from this session:
- Knowing the trends in cyber crime
- Preventing and mitigating cyber fraud risk
- Risk Allocation / Insurance in cyber fraud
- Response Plan and Options
