Doing Business in China Report
Experiences and opinions of Australian organisations operating in and with ChinaThis is a joint event with AustCham China (Beijing), AustCham Shanghai, the Australia China Business Council and University of Melbourne.
The collective Australian Chambers of Commerce in Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, South China and West China, the Australia China Business Council (ACBC), and the University of Melbourne will release the 2022 Doing Business in China Report on Wednesday 14 December at 11:00am - 12:30pm (China) 2:00 - 3:30pm (AEDT, Melbourne, Canberra, and Sydney). The report encapsulates survey results of 160 companies operating in, or trading with China, plus an in-depth analysis of the bilateral trading and investment environment at the time of the survey.
Given ongoing pandemic restrictions in China, this event will be conducted online using Austrade’s Webex platform. Members are invited to attend this high-level briefing of key findings of this publication. The results address both challenges and opportunities for Australian companies and organisations engaged with China.
The report is a useful resource for those companies which are intending or interested in entering the China market. Policy makers, government and business leaders should find valuable information within the findings, given that it gathers the collective perspectives and opinions from the business community operating in and with China.
The 2022 Doing Business in China report is the third publication produced in partnership with the Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Melbourne.
The Australian Chamber of Commerce in China thanks all participating companies which contributed to the survey and gratefully acknowledges the grant support from the National Foundation for Australia-China Relations.
