Financial Wellness for Women Series: Session 2

AustCham Hong Kong’s Women in Business Network is delighted to be launching the 2022 ‘Financial Wellness for Women’ series. 

This registration is for Session 2: Fixed Income. 

In this session, we will focus on investing in fixed income – a type of investment that pays investors fixed interest or dividend payments until its maturity date. 

We’re delighted to welcome Marie-Louise Jungels and Hunter Jamieson of L.V. Continuum & Co Limited to speak on this topic, moderated by Jo Orgill of HFL Advisors Limited.

Hunter will speak on the theory of fixed income and delve into the current rising interest rates environment.

Marie-Louise will then participate in the Q&A session, sharing her commentary on interest rates, the China economy, and ESG investing relating to the fixed income asset class – and to answer any questions on her career journey as a successful female investor.

We’re aiming to make this session as engaging as possible, so please feel free to ask questions throughout.

About Financial Wellness for Women

This series is designed for professional women who want to gain knowledge in ways to get their money working harder for them. It is designed for those who are new or early stage in investing, or for those who are keen to learn more about a particular asset class. It aims to create a welcoming and open forum to learn, ask questions and instill confidence for personal investing journeys.

This year’s series will focus on equities, fixed income, real estate and cryptocurrency investing. It concludes with a panel session with experienced female investors who will share with you their investment journeys, and tips to help you get started on your own. The opening and closing sessions also offer networking opportunities among your cohort and with the series’ speakers.
