Russell Roberts manages the Australian desk in Hong Kong for HSBC, helping Australian corporates looking to enter or grow across the Hong Kong market and Greater Bay Area.

With over 10 years of banking experience, Russell’s career spans across Europe and Asia having worked in both the Corporate and Retail Wealth financial sectors. Russell has been an active member of the Australian Chamber of Commerce for 2 years and is passionate about helping Corporates to succeed and grow sustainably. 


Cary Chung
Regional CEO | Mainfreight

Cary Chung is the Regional CEO for Mainfreight in Asia. With more than 20 years’ experience, Cary has worked across various aspects of the logistics and supply chain industry in the US and Asia.

Cary has built a strong Air & Sea division across the region with over 27 branches and a 400+ strong Asian workforce. Previously Cary was General Manager at Mainfreight China and therefore has a very strong understanding of the Chinese market, including the Greater Bay Area.


Frank Chau
Head of Greater Bay Area Strategy Implementation | HSBC

Frank Chau is the Head of Greater Bay Area Strategy Implementation at HSBC Commercial Banking. He leads the Greater Bay Area team which oversees strategy related activities and aims to capture opportunities brought by the Area’s economic growth and policy measures.

 

With more than 15 years of banking experience, Frank’s career spans across frontline sales, business development and strategy implementation, across HK and China. Prior to his current role, he was in relationship management team in Commercial banking HSBC HK covering both large Corporate and business banking clients, particular for China based customers, helping them to grow and realise their business ambitions


Benjamin Quinlan
CEO and Managing Partner | Quinlan & Associates

Benjamin Quinlan is the CEO and Managing Partner of Quinlan & Associates. He is also the Chairman of the FinTech Association of Hong Kong (FTAHK), an Adjunct Professor at the AIT School of Management, a Conference Ambassador for the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB), sits on the Advisory Committee for Hong Kong Science and Technology Park’s (HKSTP) Technology Validation Initiative, is a member of the Asian Financial Forum Steering Committee for the Hong Kong Trade and Development Council (HKTDC), and sits on the Finance, Tax & Legal Steering Committee of the Australian Chamber of Commerce (AustCham) and the Finance & Treasury Committee at the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce (HKGCC).


Benjamin has an extensive track record advising many of the world’s leading multinational companies, financial services organisations, SMEs and start-ups on a variety of high-profile strategic engagements. He is quoted extensively in the global financial press and is frequently interviewed by leading media outlets, including Bloomberg, CNBC, Reuters, and Channel New Asia. He is also a regular keynote speaker at leading financial services industry conferences across the world.


Prior to founding Quinlan & Associates, Benjamin was the Head of Strategy for Deutsche Bank AG’s Equities business in Asia Pacific and its Investment Bank in Greater China and sat on a number of the bank’s global and regional executive committees. He was also the global strategy lead for several of Deutsche Bank’s landmark projects executed out of London and New York. Benjamin has also worked at Oliver Wyman, USB and PwC.
