Many business practices have been affected by COVID-19, including recruitment. Many recruitment processes in Hong Kong are now being conducted virtually via some type of video platform. For many interviewees, this may be the first time interviewing virtually and there are many new nuances interviewing on a video platform may pose.

Chris is the Managing Director, Asia for Ambition & HaTCH Powered by Ambition brands based out of Hong Kong. He is an experienced recruitment professional with 17 years’ consulting experience across the UK and Asia and has a proven track record of building and leading sustainable and profitable recruitment teams with a commitment to provide the highest possible service levels to candidates and clients.
Chris holds responsibility for the Asia business with a key focus on overall business strategy, the growth of the Ambition business in Asia and increasing market share across the markets & sectors we operate in. A big advocate of CSR and Diversity & Inclusion, Chris is immensely proud to work for a business that achieves fantastic results but is also committed to giving back to communities in need and during his tenure has been involved in the launch of numerous initiatives including the flagship ‘Ambition Back to Work Program’ in all Asia markets and also the establishment of CSR committees in all of locations that drive participation across a diverse range of CSR initiatives including Charity Runs, working with underprivileged children, visiting schools, coaching exchange students, running LGBT+ training sessions and many more.
Prior to working with Ambition, Chris started his career in the Technology field in London as a Management Consultant with global US management consultancy firm Accenture. Upon deciding that he was not a ‘techie’, Chris moved into the recruitment field where he spent 10 years with Page Group Hong Kong in a variety of leadership roles.
