The Upskilling Opportunity

HR 2.0

The Upskilling Opportunity

HR has evolved drastically over the years in terms of structure, services, and value the function brings to business and employees. Further digital HR evolution has always been on the horizon, but the pandemic has accelerated this journey towards HR 2.0, opening new opportunities and way HR professionals can bring value to people and organisations. This also means a need for upskilling and reskilling HR professionals to be set up for future success.

The Chamber’s People Advisory Forum bring you a virtual “Fireside Chat” to bring you diverse perspectives on the opportunity for HR professionals from SMEs and large organisations alike, and likewise hear the thoughts of other HR professionals in attendance. You can expect to take away from the session:

  • Evolution of HR, and the future HR roles to start to build now;
  • Current digital HR trends and innovations, and where you can apply new ways of working for your HR team, and;
  • What Upskilling looks like for HR, and perspectives on where to start.

A highly experienced and qualified panel will join us for this discussion – with in-depth experiences and war stories working with organisations on the HR 2.0 journey, and Michael Cheng (PwC) will share his observations particularly from a Digital HR perspective, and Elsie Yung (Elsyung Consulting) will share how she’s seeing the HR community upskill and learn new ways of working. Moderated by James Storey (PwC), this promises to be an engaging and active discussion for the HR community.
