2022 - 2023 Mentor Programme
Are you looking for career guidance? Want to gain a better understanding of yourself and improve your wellbeing? Hope to expand your network and meet like-minded professionals? Well, AustCham Hong Kong is just the place for you as we are back for our 7th annual University of Wollongong Mentor Programme!
As Hong Kong continues to feel the impact of the pandemic AustCham Hong Kong recognises the importance of supporting wellbeing in the workplace. Our acclaimed Mentor Programme has pivoted this year to develop and support participants’ physical and mental health by providing a wholistic six-month experience focused on YOU. The programme includes a tailored mentoring relationship to support your professional development, alongside a series of Master Class seminars and workshops designed to develop your leadership skills, confidence and resilience. This year’s programme is co-designed by AustCham Hong Kong and Sports Consulting Asia, drawing on a foundation of sports performance and development and focused on enhancing participants wholistic wellbeing.
The programme is delivered in hybrid format, and runs from September 2022 to April 2023. By joining you will be connected with senior executives based on aligned career aspirations and interests for a one-on-one mentoring relationship. Selection ensures a guaranteed boutique and high touch experience for our participants with just 20 mentoring pairs each year. Both Mentors and Mentees will also receive specialised Master Classes and activities to support their role in the program, enhance their personal wellbeing and achieve their career aspirations.
Mentees:
- Under the age of 35
- Committed to driving a mentoring relationship
- Able to attend minimum 70% of the Master Class seminars
- Must be an AustCham Member (*if you’ve been thinking about Membership, now is the time to join!)
Mentors:
- Experienced professional with industry or role-based expertise (corporate, start-up, not for profit or education sector all welcome)
- Preferable to have had previous Mentoring experience
- Must be available to support Mentees over the program period
