Jacinta has spent most of her career in Asia across a variety of industries and corporate cultures in regional brand, corporate reputation, marketing and communications roles. She has provided advice to C-suite & government leaders throughout her career and is a passionate advocate of the benefits of diversity.

She has spent most of the past decade in asset management for multi-billion dollar global fund managers, heading regional marketing and communications functions.

Jacinta was appointed Chief Executive of Australia’s largest international chamber, the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong in 2017 after many years’ association with the chamber. The chamber actively leads dialogue on a range of key issues affecting corporates including innovation, sustainability, disruption and change.

She has advised on a number of major Australian and regional corporate issues and crises, and serves on the advisory board of Sapien Cyber, an Australian-based company with world-leading technology providing cybersecurity solutions for critical infrastructure.  The board is chaired by former Australian Defence Minister Stephen Smith and Obama’s former National Security Adviser James Clapper has recently joined.



Patrick Cowley | Panelist

Originally from the Isle of Man, Patrick has worked for KPMG in Hong Kong and China for 25 years, and now leads both of KPMG’s Hong Kong based restructuring and insolvency practice, and our Asia Pacific restructuring network, which covers some 12 countries and 425 professionals.

Over the last two decades, Patrick has been involved in some of the most significant cross border insolvencies the market has seen. He has recently been involved in the implementation of the restructuring of Noble Group Limited, is currently completing the liquidations of Lehman Brothers’ Hong Kong operations, and has played significant roles in the MF Global and OW Bunker cases.


Nigel Smith | Panelist
Managing Director | Colliers international Hong Kong

Nigel Smith is the managing director for Colliers Hong Kong, where he oversees the development and growth of the company and its people. Having spent the last three decades designing, marketing, and leasing office buildings and mixed-use projects such as ICC, 2ifc, TAIPEI 101, Ping An IFC, Shanghai Tower and China World Tower, he has extensive knowledge of the city and takes an enterprising approach towards solving the most difficult of challenges. He is a Fellow of the RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) and HKIS (HK Institute of Surveyors) and holds an MBA from Reading University.

Nigel is passionate about leveraging his knowledge to help drive change in the business world, especially when it comes to the workplace, diversity and wellness.
