Melinda leads the analysis, research and portfolio management of IFM Investors’ Small Cap portfolios. Bringing more than 19 years of buy-side investment experience across both domestic and global equities markets, Melinda’s previous roles have been with Fidelity International, Ellerston, Schroders, Global Value Investors and Investors Mutual.
Within IFM, Melinda sits on the ESG Champions Group and is a member of the IFM Proxy Voting & Engagement Committee. As part of the active equities team she engages with company management and boards on various ESG initiatives, most recently advocating for greater board diversity across the ASX300 and voting matters. IFM Investors is a member of the 30% Club Investor Working Group and Melinda represents the firm in this forum.
Director in Sustainable Finance | ANZ
Nancy is currently a Director in Sustainable Finance at ANZ based in Hong Kong. Her prior experience includes loan syndications and credit analysis working across Sydney, Beijing and Hong Kong. She has a financial analysis & audit background from EY and holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance & Accounting from The University of New South Wales, Sydney.
Nancy is the co-chair of ANZ Hong Kong’s diversity and inclusion committee, working across functions and management to further diversity of thought at the bank. She founded Girls Just Wanna Have Fund$ together with a cohort of women during The Women’s Foundation Mentoring Programme, upon discovering the importance of closing the gender investing gap in supporting women’s journey towards leadership and representation at the boardroom.
Co-founder | The Capital Company
Jessica has been serving families in Asia since 2003, specializing in Americans and international clients with cross border needs. She co-founded the Capital Company at the beginning of 2017 as a leading independent asset management and financial planning firm, bringing her experienced team to join a new expanded international practice.
Prior to her time at The Capital Company, Jessica co-founded EXS Capital Asia Limited in early 2008, running the firm’s wealth management practice. She served as a Responsible Officer and head of Operations and Compliance for the firm until the end of 2016. She and her team built a substantial asset management and financial planning practice during their time at EXS, which is part of the core of The Capital Company today.
Jessica is an expert in many areas including tax, financial, investments, and estate planning and specializes in serving Americans, US taxpayers and US investors living in outside the US. She and her team provide fee-based comprehensive wealth management and planning services and advise on a variety of complex family matters.
Before she moved to Tokyo in 2003, Jessica worked as a Registered Representative for Charles Schwab. She continues to be licensed in the U.S. today as a Registered Investment Advisor, insurance professional, and Trust and Estate Practitioner. While in Tokyo she completed her MBA at Temple University Japan and moved to Hong Kong in late 2007 to set up her own business.
Jessica lives in Hong Kong with her husband and two children. She is active in the American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and supports a variety of non-profit organizations around the region. Jessica’s planning practice including providing pro-bono financial planning to women facing the loss of a spouse through death or divorce and advocating for domestic workers facing healthcare or employment crises. Jessica is avid traveller and adventure racer.
Simone Wheeler has lived and worked in Asia for 25 years managing the reputation, culture and brand of innovative multinationals and start-ups in the finance, asset management, technology, media and FMCG sectors. Following 12 years as Global Head of Communications of CLSA, the brokerage, investment bank and private equity firm now owned by CITIC Securities, Simone is pursuing her passion for philanthropy at the global NGO OneSky.org and, through her consultancy Aurelius Strategic, is helping enlightened, purpose-driven organisations and individuals to achieve bold outcomes that benefit society and the planet. Simone has been a member of the Austcham board since 2018.
